VIRTUAL SKETCHBOOK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH STILA COSMETICS

CASE STUDY: EDITORIAL STRATEGY - CONTENT PRODUCTION - CONTENT CREATION

Our collaboration with Stila developed from an internal program we started in September 2014 for New York Fashion Week. To create compelling and relevant coverage of the shows we wanted to remind our readers that fashion (and in this case beauty) begin at the sketch; so we tapped fashion illustrators to reinterpret and cover the collections from an artist's point of view and create Virtual Sketchbooks showcasing their coverage. As supporters of Stila already, we developed an exclusive Virtual Sketchbook featuring all beauty sketches with fashion illustrator Rachel Nosco, who we had previously featured in our stories before the collaboration. The sketchbook acted as Rachel's diary, showing a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her work backstage capturing each of Stila's beauty looks (actual Stila makeup was even included in the finished pieces) and her personal thoughts on each of the shows.

HOW WE FIRST CONNECTED

We've included Stila Cosmetics products in multiple stories including SNAPSHOT STYLE stories, our Virtual Sketchbook FW2015 coverage and 2014 Community- Inspired Holiday Gift Guide.

HIGHLIGHTS

In addition to the assets posted on The Style Line, we provided Stila with content to share on social - one of which was the highest performing post on Instagram for the entire week with an impressive 10.8k likes. Additionally, our content averaged 16.2k collective likes on Stila's Instagram for the week.
