VIRTUAL SKETCHBOOK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH STILA COSMETICS

CASE STUDY: EDITORIAL CONTENT CREATION

Our collaboration with Stila developed from an internal program we started in September 2014 for New York Fashion Week. To create compelling and relevant coverage of the shows we wanted to remind our readers that fashion (and in this case beauty) begin at the sketch; so we tapped fashion illustrators to re-interpret and cover the collections from an artist's point of view and create Virtual Sketchbooks. As supporters of Stila already, we developed an exclusive Virtual Sketchbook featuring all beauty sketches with fashion illustrator Rachel Nosco, with whom we had previously featured in our stories before the collaboration. The sketchbook acted as Rachel's diary, showing a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her work backstage capturing each of Stila's beauty looks (some of the actual product was even included in the finished pieces) and her personal opinions and thoughts on each of the shows in their entirety.

HOW WE FIRST CONNECTED

We've included Stila Cosmetics products in multiple stories including SNAPSHOT STYLE stories, our Virtual Sketchbook FW2015 coverage and 2014 Community- Inspired Holiday Gift Guide.

HIGHLIGHTS

In addition to the assets on The Style Line, we provided Stila with content to share on social - one of which was the highest performing post on Instagram for the entire week with an impressive 10.8k likes. Additionally our content averaged 16.2k collective likes on Stila's Instagram, for the week.
